Ford Parts Department Manager
Mullinax Ford is looking to fill the role of Parts Manager, which is responsible for providing parts and supplies to the rest of the dealership. The parts department is integral in providing excellent service to our customers. We are seeking a first-rate candidate to help take our busy parts and service department to the next level and to join our multi-store enterprise. Prior auto parts experience preferred. Competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and forecasting parts inventory
- Pricing parts to maintain profitability
- Overseeing special orders and warranty returns
- Collaborating with service manager to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
- Direct, supervise, and monitor performance of all direct report employees
- Engaging and motivating the team to meet performance expectations and goals
- Ensure all parts, tools, and equipment is available and up to date for all team members to complete work
- Ensure all employee’s receive proper training
- Responsible for the cleanliness and safety of the Parts Department
- Follow all Company procedures and standards
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements for this job:
- Automotive Parts Management Experience
- Ability to provide five-star customer service
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Team Leader (lead by example)
- Results oriented with strong attention to detail
- Problem solver with stability under pressure
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), internet browsers, email functions and ability to learn new software
- Must have professional appearance and work ethic
- Must have a team player attitude and work well with other departments
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed up to 50 pounds
- Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
- Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
- Must be able to pass background screening and drug test

Compensation:
- Weekly draw settled out against monthly bonus and commission.
- Total annual compensation between $100,000 to $140,000.
