Mullins Cheese Inc. is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment, including electrical systems, mechanical components, and instrumentation devices. You will perform preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, and make necessary repairs to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks on electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace defective components and equipment parts
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation devices
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to complete projects and tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years in a maintenance technician role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and instrumentation devices
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and control systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the dairy or food manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Schedule Requirements:
We have 1 shift available currently:
- Nights 4pm-12am. Sunday - Saturday. Every other weekend off. Flexible on scheduling for set days off.
Wage / Hours:
- Wage open based upon experience
- Minimum starting at $ 28.00 per hour/$3 shift premium included
- $3.00 Shift Premium 6pm-6am. Monday-Friday. All Day Saturday
- 1.5x on Sundays
Full-time, 40 – 50 hours Per Week, 1.5x pay over 40 hours and holidays
