Intake Operator

About the Position
Mullins Cheese seeks a self-motivated, team-oriented individual to work in our milk Intake. This role offers opportunities for growth and advancement within a family-owned company that values employee input and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload raw product from trucks and ensure the bulk tank is washed and sanitized daily.
• Document and maintain records of loads and cleanings.
• Sample loads and cow samples for antibiotics, pH, and other potential inadequacies.
• Wash and sanitize equipment and surroundings according to SQF 2000 standards.
• Comply with all processes and procedures to ensure safe and quality products.
• Report any positive test results for antibiotics or other milk inadequacies.

Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, balancing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Able to withstand varying weather conditions and work at heights.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for equipment operation.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $21.50, which includes a $3 shift premium for work between 6pm-6am and on Saturdays. Overtime pay is 1.5 times the regular rate.
