Senior Fire Protection Designer
As a Senior Designer, you will be a key player within our fire protection team. This role will be responsible for providing complete design, stock listing, and hydraulic calculations to support our industrial / manufacturing focused fire protection pursuits. NICET Certification required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborate with pre-construction team during bid pursuits.
- Provide hydraulic calculations and layout assistance for pre-construction.
- Responsible for managing design on multiple large industrial fire protection projects.
- Work with engineering team to receive permitting and approval on design.
- Ability to manage fast paced design environment on large projects.
- Provide 3D BIM models.
- Attend BIM coordination meetings.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and professional representation and responsiveness for prospects and customers.
- Other duties as assigned
