Job Summary:
This part-time (20-25 hours/week) position offers an opportunity to showcase your versatile maintenance skills by performing a variety of repair and upkeep tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities in Lewiston, ID. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general repairs, and other maintenance-related tasks, acting as a dependable resource for the site's upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC and electrical equipment.
- Proactively stock necessary materials and tools.
- Conduct daily facility inspections to ensure optimal operation.
- Respond promptly to tenant issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Complete detailed work orders and maintenance checklists.
- Support the On-Site Supervisor with task order quotations.
- Test and troubleshoot HVAC systems to maintain peak performance.
- Address urgent requests from tenants and the GSA.
- Perform lighting installations and carpet repairs.
- Repair various equipment and appliances.
- Document maintenance and repair activities.
- Identify and recommend additional repair needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong field service skills, including troubleshooting and repair expertise.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Required certifications: HVAC specialty electrical license 06B, EPA 608 Certification Type 2 or greater, and one or more of the following: NATE, HVAC&R Service Technician Certification, UA Star HVAC&R Mastery Certification, or Journeyman License.
- Boiler Grade IV License (preferred).
