What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent position at Multi-faceted Property Investment Group?
We are a busy property management company looking for a hard-working individual that will be responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of properties. Our properties are located in central Ft Wayne and surrounding areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Property Manager in the following:
- Property Leasing and Administration.
- Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
- Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, and sign a
lease.
- Conducts all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments,
generating new leads, conducting tours, and all necessary follow-up's needed.
- Completes all leasing paperwork needed before move-in.
- Assisting with lease audits, walking units, and turn processes.
- Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data. Respond to prospect leads within 24 hours.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
- Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction are met.
- Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas.
- Customer & Resident Relations.
- Manage excellent customer service and monitor service requests, turnaround and
responsiveness.
- Projects a favorable image of the company to achieve property objectives and public
recognition.
- Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters.
- Enforce policies of the company that the immediate supervisor delegates.
Education/experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills
required.
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and Section 8 requirements.
Physical requirements
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use
hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Employees are frequently required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
