Direct Hire Maintenance Technician

Complete all service requests within 24 hours, unless it requires extraordinary parts or labor.

• Keep maintenance shop in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain pool and deck area.
• Monitor and operate trash compactor. • Help maintain grounds and streets free of litter.
• Keep uniform and personal appearance neat and clean.
• Maintain laundry equipment.
• Maintain tennis courts.
• Assist Groundskeeper on breezeways as necessary.
• Keep carwash maintained, fully stocked, and clean. • Assist Maintenance Supervisor with unusual projects as necessary to maintain smooth property operations.
• Maintain all project directional signs, making sure they are clean, painted,and straight.
• Ensure preventative maintenance is done on fitness equipment.
• Monitor guidelines for vacant units, office, and common areas.
• Responsible for checking and replacing any defective or burned-out light bulbs or security lights. Light inspections to be done one or two times perweek.
• Serve “on call” as necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance quarterly as outlined in the maintenance manual.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in painting 60% of units in-house.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
