Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Leasing Agent with affordable housing experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Federal Fair Housing Laws & Guidelines (training provided) and be familiar with market rate leasing as well as LIHTC application processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet prospective residents, provide property tours, and respond promptly to inquiries with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Leasing & Documentation: Process rental applications, prepare lease agreements, and maintain accurate resident files in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Fair Housing Compliance: Apply Federal Fair Housing Laws & Guidelines in all leasing practices; complete provided training to ensure full compliance.
- Market Rate & LIHTC Applications: Assist with market rate leasing activities and support the LIHTC application process, ensuring all documentation and procedures meet regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with property management and maintenance teams to address resident concerns and facilitate a smooth leasing experience.
- Reporting & Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of leasing activities and prepare regular reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in affordable housing leasing is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of Federal Fair Housing Laws & Guidelines; training will be provided as needed.
- Familiarity with market rate leasing and LIHTC applications is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management software.
Preferred Certifications:
- COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist)
- C3P (Certified Compliance & Customer Service Professional)
- (Certifications are preferred but not required.)

Pay: $19.11 - $21.19 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
