We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining comprehensive financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Perform daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial procedures and controls
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships included)
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Enterprise and Quickbooks Online
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with family wealth management or high-net-worth clients
- Familiarity with tax preparation software
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
