INVENTORY MANAGER
JOB OVERVIEW
The key objective of the Inventory Manager is to maintain accurate inventory levels in the system, monitor warehouse transactions, track inventory maintenance, and control the flow and movement of inventory.
Actively seeks ways to improve and promote quality. Applies feedback constructively to enhance performance. Takes personal ownership of monitoring work to ensure high quality standards are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core Requirements:
- Own the process for physical inventory and audits.
- Enter all inventory movements into the QuickBooks Enterprise software daily.
This includes recording inventory received into our warehouse, transferring inventory between warehouses, processing returns to clients, handling damaged or disposed products, and reconciling manufacturing jobs.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing and recording of all inventory transactions, ensuring precise and efficient record-keeping.
- Recommend and implement operational processes that optimize and ensure accurate records of inventory activities and status, while driving continuous improvement of inventory management across the Company.
- Upon request from our Client Service Team, generate new product item numbers in the QuickBooks software, including comprehensive descriptions and costs for each item.
- Weekly and monthly reporting requirements for customer inventory.
- Leads quarterly and monthly cycle counts for both Company and customer owned inventory.
- Assists procurement department with correct on-hand inventory positions and usage reports to facilitate inventory turnover.
- Develop dashboards on any critical KPI metrics deemed critical by the CFO.
Inventory Controls:
- Collaborate closely with Warehouse Manager and Quality Control team to regularly update how inventory is received, stored, and utilized in production.
- Analyze any discrepancies or shortages in items, as well as inconsistencies in production builds to ensure inventory positions are accurate.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders including but not limited to warehouse associates, quality, and production teams.
- Communicate and address any issues related to incorrect inventory processes or paperwork.
- Leads and supports warehouse manager with the quarterly physical inventory cycle count and procedures.
- Leads a minimum of two full inventory counts in June and December.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 7 years’ inventory experience
- Experience in QuickBooks Enterprise
- Must be skilled in MS Excel and able to manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly analytical, critical thinker
- Possesses a well-rounded background in inventory accounting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
