Position Summary
The Executive Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with MultiCare's mission, vision, and values. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, crafting compelling messaging and content that effectively translates organizational priorities and goals. You will collaborate with executive communicators and business unit teams, and oversee content development to ensure clarity and engagement, while enhancing the organization's narrative and influencing perceptions of its strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a trusted communications partner to senior leadership, developing strategies that align with organizational priorities and goals.
- Creates and edits high-quality content for executive communications, including memos, presentations, speeches, and announcements, ensuring clarity and engagement
- Develops and implements comprehensive communication plans that support executive initiatives and enhance the corporate narrative.
- Synthesizes complex information into compelling stories and messages that resonate with specific audiences, reflecting the organization's mission and values
- Builds and drives executive communications programs that promote thought leadership and engage employees through storytelling, events, and digital media
- Collaborates with the broader Marketing & Communications team to align executive messaging with corporate strategies, brand initiatives, and company-wide events
- Coaches executives on effective communication delivery across various platforms, maximizing opportunities to engage with internal audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or public relations
- Eight (8) years of experience in Journalism, Public Relations or related field
- Experience in health care setting preferred
- Demonstrated written communication skills - sample required

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $106,517.00 - $153,275.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
