Position Summary
The Manager of Strategic Finance will lead and support key financial projects, focusing on enhancing financial systems, reporting, and analysis. This role involves collaborating with system leadership and various departments to optimize financial applications and ensure alignment with organizational goals. The manager will oversee the preparation of financial reports, drive data optimization, and manage the implementation of financial tools and processes. They will also play a central role in strategic planning, utilizing advanced analytics and data visualization to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.Essential Functions

System Management & Optimization: Provide technical and operational leadership to ensure the current systems are functioning optimally, while also ensuring proposed systems will meet the organization's evolving needs.

Data Integrity & Validation: Utilize advanced SQL techniques and other relevant technologies to validate data, optimize imports, and enhance data transformation and reporting capabilities. Ensure data integrity across all platforms.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with System Leadership, Regional Finance, and System Accounting to communicate financial directives effectively, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.

System Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation and distribution of key financial reports and Stewardship Metrics. Manage the statistical data collection and distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Strategic Planning & Innovation: Actively participate in the development and vetting of AI tools. Provide data-driven insights to assist in decision-making at the executive level.
- Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve financial reporting processes, leveraging tools such as PowerBI and advanced data analytics to drive efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
3 years of leadership experience.
5 years of experience in finance/financial analysis, preferably in healthcare.
Expertise in ERP systems (Workday), financial tools, and EPM platforms (Axiom, Workday).
Strong SQL, data analysis, and reporting skills (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel).
Leadership experience in managing financial projects and cross-functional teams. Ability to present financial insights to senior management and influence decision-making.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $113,963.00 - $164,008.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
