Job Description :
- Provide hybrid care, covering clinic patients and taking 24-hour sequestered call duties.
- Ideal schedule would include two clinic days and one call day per week.
- Clinic and call schedules are separate, with facilities located approximately 15 minutes apart.
- Coverage includes supporting Certified Nurse Midwives' escalated delivery needs.
- Clinic support provided for a patient volume of 20-22 per day.
- Perform and interpret OB Ultrasounds including Level I / Screening, Level II / Targeted anatomical ultrasounds.
- Handle a variety of deliveries, including routine vaginal, low forceps, and complicated deliveries like breech and multiple births.
- Decision-making necessary for C-sections and management of VBACs.
- Repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.
- Perform office and minor gynecological procedures such as IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
- Execute surgical gynecology procedures, both open and laparoscopic, including tubal ligation and ovary removal.
- Must possess laser certification for operative / major procedures.
Note : Assistance obtaining lodging recommendations with a corporate rate available. Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days. Facilities have a trauma level 2 and PEDs level 3.
