MCC is seeking for a Child Care Assistant Director Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferable but not required with the following qualifications:
· Minimum one year of experience overseeing a child childcare facility and supervising more than 15 employees.
· Minimum of one year of experience implementing and following early childhood and after school curriculum program.
· Be familiar with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) regulations
· College Degree (bachelor or higher) in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or related field. Coursework in school administration, leadership or management.
· Must have a valid driver’s license

Duties:
Supervises all classroom practices - room arrangement, lesson plans, daily schedules, routines, and transitions to assure their adherence to program policies.
· Provides day-to-day supervision, and delegate work assignments for all personnel at the center.
· Monitors the implementation of curricula in the classroom
· Supervises children’s assessment, including weekly observations in each area, examples of the child’s work, developmental assessments, and children’s assessment data entry and outcome reports
· Supervises parent-teacher conference to ensure they are completed per requirements, and that they are used to discuss the child’s individual development and progress, and assists the parents in developing skills and soliciting parent observations
· Assists in recruiting, hiring, and providing appropriate training for new staff.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
