Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Regional Property Manager to oversee multiple properties within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. This role requires a proactive approach to managing property operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.
- Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing strategies, tenant screening, and lease negotiations.
- Coordinate property maintenance efforts, working closely with maintenance staff and contractors to address issues promptly.
- Implement administrative processes for efficient property management, including record-keeping and file management.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Section 8 regulations and other legal requirements related to property management.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess conditions and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and local authorities.
- Prepare reports on property performance metrics for senior management review.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and regulations, including Section 8 compliance.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Proficient in administrative tasks, including file organization and office management duties.
- Strong sales skills to effectively market properties and attract potential tenants.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for effective tenant interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to property management is preferred.
