What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Community Manager position at Multifamily Property Management Company?
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day office operations of our apartment community alongside community manager.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of office management experience, preferably in the multifamily housing sector. They will have strong marketing, leadership and communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage office staff
- Implement and oversee marketing plans
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is being given to residents
- Planning and assigning staff work duties and schedules
- Addressing resident complaints
- Effectively communicate with all staff members and main office
- Enter, update, track and audit resident/applicant information in company software
- Rent collection, issue notices and process evictions
- Implement and oversee resident retention programs
- Lease apartments
Specific skills required:
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet use
- Ability to learn and utilize new computer software
- Proficiency in using social media
- Ability to compose letters that are clear, concise and grammatically correct
- Ability to lead and motivate a team through effective verbal communications
- Strong initiative and problem solving skills
- Top notch organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize work
Salary will be based on experience. Benefits include health/dental/life/vision insurance in addition to paid sick, vacation and holiday days. Benefits and a pay raise after 60 day positive review.
