POSITION SUMMARY :
We are actively seeking Editors to support a state-wide government effort. Editors are the final quality control gate for translations and serial products before formal dissemination.
This position is pending contract award.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure all products are grammatically correct, according to idiomatic American English, Sponsor standards, and individual lexicons maintained by different issue areas.Apply substantive and linguistic knowledge of target issue areas in their work.SECURITY CLEARANCE :
Candidates with any level of clearance, including those with no clearance but who are deemed eligible, may be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Demonstrated experience with programs of similar size and scope.Experience editing products and materials.Experience editing and generating professional documents.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly concerning the ability to engage collaboratively and effectively in a virtual environment.Strong time and task management skills.WORK ENVIRONMENT :
8-hour shifts or as required by the customer.
PAY RANGE :
Pay Range : $50,000 - $150,000 a year
MultiLingual Solutions (MLS) pay range and level are general guidelines for this job. Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
