EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedures, and computer manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondences. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamental accounting spreadsheets. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, interest, commissions., ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to analyze data and provide summaries and comparisons.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near machinery and moving parts. The employee may be exposed to the risk of electromagnetic fields, risk of electric shock and vibration. The employee will be required to travel and stay overnight on occasion. The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet, but will be loud when in the production environment. Associate may be subject to temperature extremes for extended periods of time.

- Material planning activities required to meet customer releases with 100% on time delivery
- Provide customer support both internally and externally
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, APQP, and Shipping and Receiving to ensure a smooth flow of materials through the production process for on-time delivery of finished goods to customers.
- Responsible for customer performance monitoring and disputing violations
- Daily run MRP to prepare shipping schedules and import the latest customer forecasts and shipping requirements into MRP system, such as Gentran
- Excellent knowledge of Advanced Shipping Notices (A.S.N.s). and Bar Code Labels/ Information.
- Responsible for accessing Ford’s direct data link system (DDL, eDDL, IMS3, IMS4, IMS7) and Stellantis SMART system for the purpose of monitoring inventory at customer plants and react to shortages based on customer parameters. Maintaining part packaging is also required to help maintain 100% customer performance.
- Required to be available to cover truck schedules and customer portals every Saturday and Holidays, as necessary
- Provide guidance, problem solving and training for shipping department

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Associates degree or higher preferred or minimum of a High School diploma/GED and a minimum of three (3) – five (5) years’ experience in logistics, automotive industry preferred.
- Must have strong knowledge of SAP, MRP, and Microsoft Excel
- Must have experience in Logistics and dispatch planning
- Must have experience in Customer Portals (Stellantis/Ford/GM)
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, other team leaders and top management.
