Biomedical Equipment Technician III

Job Description

The Biomedical Equipment Technician III is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of complex biomedical equipment and systems. This position requires advanced knowledge and skills in electronics, mechanics, and computer technology. The Biomedical Equipment Technician III will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of complex biomedical equipment and systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
• Ensure that all equipment meets regulatory requirements and is functioning properly
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Provide technical support and training to other technicians and users of biomedical equipment
• Stay current with advances in biomedical technology and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Associate's degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
• Advanced knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computer technology
• Experience with complex biomedical equipment and systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
