Field Service Biomedical Engineer III

Job Summary
The Field Service Biomedical Engineer III will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for medical equipment in hospitals and healthcare facilities in the Central Valley, CA area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide solutions
- Provide technical support to hospital staff and other customers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and equipment inventory
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments to improve service quality and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment and systems, including imaging, diagnostic, and therapeutic devices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites
- Must pass background and drug screen.
