Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician I (Contract)

Location: Annapolis, MD

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician I to join our team on a contract basis in Annapolis, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities within the region.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing on equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
• Order parts and supplies as needed
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Provide training and support to healthcare staff on equipment operation

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components
• Ability to work independently and travel to various locations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must Pass background and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Certification from the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) preferred
