What are the responsibilities and job description for the Voluntary Transfer Window 2025 - 2026 position at Multiple Campus Locations?
Who: Teachers and/or Instructional Aides who are interested in transferring to another campus within the District. Transfer requirements are provided below.
What: A voluntary transfer is defined as a request for a lateral move (i.e. movement between the same/similar job titles and pay grades).
When: Voluntary transfer requests are for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Voluntary Transfer Application Window Opens Monday, March 24, 2025
- Voluntary Transfer Application Window Closes Friday, April 4, 2025
- Hiring Managers Interview and Recommend Candidates for Transfer by Friday, May 23, 2025
Transfer Requirements:
- A voluntary transfer request will be considered only if the employee has received a 2025-2026 contract or is on track to receive a letter of assurance for the 2025-2026 school year.
- To be considered for a voluntary transfer, the employee will notify their supervisor of their intent to be considered for any transfer opportunities and will submit an application for the desired campus and position before the deadline.
- Teachers/ Instructional Aides who are on a growth plan are ineligible for transfer.
- Teachers/ Instructional Aides must have an active standard certification.
- You must have a minimum of 1 year active service with Del Valle ISD.
Note: Requesting a transfer does not guarantee that a change in assignment or an interview will occur.
