Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Soil Analysis and Laboratory Coordinator to join our team at Multiplier.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the processing of soil samples with the Soil Science Program Director, including grinding, sieving, acidifying, and packing for analysis on an elemental analyzer.
- Work closely with the Postdoctoral Research Associate to process NRCS CEAP soil samples, involving weighing, drying, grinding, sieving, acidifying, packing, and conducting pH analyses.
- Assist in setting up the laboratory, including updating safety protocols, organizing supplies, and maintaining inventories.
- Learn to operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as elemental analyzers, MIR, and plate readers, and analyze soil samples accordingly.
- Present progress and updates at staff meetings and participate in field sampling campaigns when necessary.
