POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
POSITION PURPOSE:
A champion for culture and the employee experience. This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR processes and strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. In addition, this role may own programs that run across the broader HR team. To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations and industry best practices that improve performance, retention, and overall employee experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Ability to lead, develop, and inspire business leaders in a high growth, rapidly changing environment.

- Strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
- A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the ‘pulse’ of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
- On site contact for all functions within our Human Resources Information Systems, including employee record information, changes, and reports in ADP and other related systems.
- On site contact for administering benefits including Health, Vision, 401(k), and workers compensation in partnership with quality team.
- On site contact for unemployment, respond to requests and file appeals, and attend unemployment hearings.
- Assist with on-site onboarding of new employees.
- Assist with administration of performance evaluations and review with supervisors for consistency across the company.
- On site employee relations.
- All other duties, assignments, projects, or directions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Four-year degree preferred. Equivalent work experience and/or training acceptable.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft programs.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Proven experience in an HR Role. Employee sourcing and recruiting. Experience with government filings and regulations. Experience in a manufacturing, shop floor, or operations business a plus. Proficient with ADP highly desirable.
SKILLS ABILITIES: Professionalism and ability to handle confidential information. Conflict resolution skills. Strong ADP experience. Ability to learn JobBOSS manufacturing and UniPoint software.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Able to perform typical office duties. No heavy lifting required.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
TRAVEL: Ability to travel between assigned sites and corporate location in Twin Cities metro.
