Sonographer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate female Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient comfort, and providing accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic radiology process, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to Ob/Gyn procedures.
• Ensure patient care by providing a comfortable environment and addressing any concerns during the procedure.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess and interpret sonographic images.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure safety and cleanliness during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members regarding procedures and findings.
• Document examination results and maintain accurate medical records using medical terminology.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and sonography practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and practices.
• Proficiency in anatomy knowledge relevant to ultrasound imaging.
• Understanding of physiology knowledge applicable to sonographic assessments.
• Experience or training in Ob/Gyn ultrasound techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with aseptic technique standards in medical environments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to sonography and imaging procedures.
• Bilingual
