Position Overview
Multistudio is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Lead to build connections, uncover opportunities, and drive growth within the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. In this role, you’ll leverage your professional network and exceptional relationship-building skills to shape the future of our studio. You’ll identify strategic opportunities, cultivate strong relationships, and align our talented San Francisco team with projects that reflect our design vision.
This role involves close collaboration with studio leadership, marketing, business development and design teams to align business goals with creative solutions. As the ambassador of Multistudio in San Francisco, you’ll have the unique opportunity to champion our mission, expand our impact, and foster lasting relationships with clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth : Develop and implement a targeted business development strategy to expand our client base and portfolio in alignment with firmwide goals. Manage strategy for lead generation and project procurement in the San Francisco area.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research to uncover opportunities, anticipate industry trends and shifts, and identify key prospects.
- Client Engagement : Build and sustain meaningful connections with clients, including developers, city officials, school districts, and private business owners. Assist in conducting client touchpoint meetings and continually improving client satisfaction.
- Proposal Excellence : Partner with leadership and marketing teams to craft winning proposals, presentations, and materials that showcase our expertise and vision. Ensure all opportunities are properly evaluated, managed, and well-positioned with effective win strategies.
- Community Engagement : Serve as a public ambassador and connection to the firm, elevating our presence at key industry events as well as national conferences, and identifying key local engagement opportunities to align the firm vision with project opportunities.
- Partnership Development : Foster collaborative relationships with contractors, consultants, engineers, developers, and other key partners to project success.
- Pipeline Management : Track, analyze, and report on business development activities, ensuring effective pipeline management and strategic forecasting.
