Duties
- Assemble components and parts according to specifications and blueprints.
- Fabricate and modify parts as necessary to ensure proper fit and function.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse or factory setting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting assembly issues and implementing solutions as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding product specifications and assembly requirements.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read technical documents, including blueprints and schematics, is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
