As a German Speaking Loan Officer, you will be responsible for processing loan applications, making informed credit decisions, and driving sales by engaging with customers. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless loan process while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Review and assess loan applications from multiple markets, ensuring all applications meet required standards and eligibility criteria.
- Make informed decisions on loan approvals or declines based on company policies, risk management standards, and compliance guidelines.
- Drive sales by proactively engaging with customers through calls, chats, and emails.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products to maximize customer value and achieve sales goals.
- Promote additional products and services that align with customer needs, focusing on upselling opportunities to increase loan approvals and revenue.
- Handle complex customer concerns and challenges through emails, chats, or phone calls with professionalism and clarity.
- Provide effective solutions to ensure a positive customer experience and timely issue resolution.
- Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with customers regarding loan application statuses, decisions, and available product options.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction and build trust.
- Follow all regulatory guidelines, risk policies, and company procedures to minimize operational risks.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on loan application outcomes.
- Accurately enter and maintain detailed records of loan applications, decisions, and customer interactions in company systems.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Fluent in German and English, both oral and written. Additional languages will be considered a benefit.
- Team player with a customer-oriented approach.
- Previous working experience in a similar environment is a plus.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to resolve customer issues or queries in the first resolution contact.
