What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Manager position at MULTIVAC USA?
Summary: Maintains inventory accuracy of all equipment, accessories, parts and consumables in all phases of receiving, stock keeping, internal movements to outbound delivery and manages physical inventory counts across all Multivac Inc facilities in North America including 3rd party warehouses.
Time Utilization: Normal business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal and external customer schedules. This position may travel up to 10% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Supervision of inventory team. Give guidance and direction associated with schedules, time management, issue resolution, and normal daily activities. Provide short and long-term goals setting, planning, and organization, training. Evaluate, analyze, and provide feedback as to the associate's performance.
- Manage Stock Keeping Activities which include being responsible for all physical locations and movements of all inventory items after they arrive at our dock. Responsible for stock-keeping accuracy including bin locations, item identification and movement tags, item integrity and completeness including stocked sets (dies, cutting, etc), and select portions of the RMA process.
- Schedules and manages cycle counting and physicals at our Kansas City warehouse and our 3PLS to ensure accurate counts and monitors shelf-life control and obsolescence.
- Works with the accounting, finance, purchasing, customer service and sales groups to troubleshoot, improve, document, and analyze to effectively improve, and standardize information and processes within our organization.
- Define, establish, and enhance the roles, goals, and responsibilities for all associates within the department. Ensure that all associates are effectively trained, and skill sets match performance requirements. General and specific goals are assessed and reviewed consistently as a team and individually within the department.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field and five years of warehouse, material, inventory management or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. High level of initiative with the flexibility to work with changing priorities to meet deadlines.

Current valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position. APICS or equivalent exposure to inventory management software preferred.
