What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Trainer *bilingual Spanish required position at MULTIVAC USA?
Summary: This position requires bilingual Spanish skills and is responsible for developing and facilitating formalized technical training sessions in both English and Spanish for associates and customers on topics including, but not limited to, various types of equipment including Processing equipment, equipment installation, troubleshooting, safety, maintenance, discrete components, and repair. This position will develop and deliver training courses, develop teaching aids and course schedules, maintain training records, and continually adapt training methods to improve knowledge transfer and retention. Additionally, the position will require MULTIVAC Training Center class promotion and marketing along with customer courtesy visits, customer polling to develop future plans, and development of customer training price estimates/quotations.
Time Utilization: This position will travel up to 50% of the time (some international travel is required). Normal business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal and external customers’ schedules. The training schedule will include some weekend sessions and travel to Kansas City as needed if remotely based.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Serve as the primary contact for all customers desiring on-site training for content development. Directing scheduling to the Training Coordinator as needed.
2. Develop and conduct internal and external technical training sessions on MULTIVAC and TVI equipment for customers both in-house, on customer site, or at MULTIVAC regional offices.
3. Administer and manage on-site reporting of trainee progress, engagement, demonstrated technical aptitude, and recommendations on areas to improve.
4. Develop and conduct tests and assessments to measure knowledge and skill gaps, field readiness, and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
5. Work with management and the Training Coordinator on course schedules, manage course registrations, and manage customer expectations and feedback.
6. Implement and create new training materials and methods including alternative forms of training and training products (e.g. video, CD/DVD, web-based, etc.)
7. Operate within annual training departmental budget.

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree in technical discipline or adult learning theory and at least three years’ experience developing and conducting hands-on technical training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to develop effective instructional media solutions.
