What You'll Do
Lead with Excellence: Teach gymnastics classes in a professional, positive, and respectful manner. Ensure each student receives the personalized attention they need to thrive.
Track Progress: Keep detailed records of each student’s progress and adapt teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
Maintain Safety: Conduct daily safety inspections, address unsafe conditions promptly, and uphold all gymnastics safety protocols.
Engage and Communicate: Explain the gymnastics program to parents, address concerns, and maintain open lines of communication with both parents and the supervisory team.
Prepare and Perform: Begin class preparation 15 minutes prior to start, and deliver high-energy, disciplined sessions that maximize learning.
Collaborate and Contribute: Attend staff meetings, workshops, and assist in staff training. Work closely with the Gymnastics Supervisor to ensure smooth operations and continuous program improvement.
Stay Compliant: Adhere to Club safety policies, report hazards, and maintain regular attendance.
What You'll Bring
Experience & Certification: Minimum of 2 years’ experience instructing gymnastics. Prior competitive gymnastics experience and USA Gymnastics membership with safety certification preferred.
Skills & Education: Demonstrated ability to teach fundamental gymnastics skills. Continuing education in gymnastics and current CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus.
Passion & Professionalism: A commitment to providing a safe, fun, and respectful learning environment. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Physical Readiness: Ability to perform physical tasks including spotting gymnasts, moving on varied surfaces, and standing for extended periods.
