The Role

This is a part-time, fully on-site position at our club in Portland, OR.
What You’ll Do
Store Operations & Housekeeping: Handle opening/closing tasks, maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
Transaction & Payment Management: Use POS system to process sales, manage member payments, and handle special orders.
Customer Assistance & Service: Provide knowledgeable and friendly service, assist with purchases, and ensure quality service standards.
Inventory & Merchandise: Tag, replenish, and optimize inventory, assist with receiving orders, and monitor stock levels and markdowns.
Safety & Compliance: Follow safety policies, report hazards, and maintain a safe store environment.
Administrative & Attendance: Perform administrative tasks and maintain reliable attendance to support the team.
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Technical Skills: Retail experience preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office, keyboarding, and using essential tools like POS and RMS systems.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and members.
Physical Capability & Task Management: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, while managing additional tasks as assigned.
Training & Learning: Participate in training sessions and stay up-to-date with club-related knowledge.
Inventory & Merchandise: Assist with purchasing, reordering, returns, and creating eye-catching displays.
