What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Maintenance- OH position at Mum Industries Inc?

Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
- Maintenance Personnel would be responsible to work on the following types of machines: CNCs, punch press, band saws, injection molding machines, press brake machines (Amada, Cincinatti, Trumpf, Accupress etc.)
- The maintenance person could have to repair prox switches, limit switches, heating probes, timers, small electrical components, and hydraulic lines.
- The maintenance person may have to trouble shoot machine leaks and equipment errors to best remedy the downed equipment.
- Maintenance person shall also be responsible for maintaining Preventative Maintenance for machines and equipment throughout the shop along record retention of the PMs.
- Maintenance personnel shall also be responsible to contact any contractors required to perform activities maintenance personnel cannot perform (concrete work, dock leveler repairs, air compressor repairs, etc.)
- Maintenance could be required to assemble new equipment and manage installations of new equipment.
- Maintenance personnel may be required to move office furniture or assemble office furniture based on requirements along with minor office repairs such as:
- Painting, Patching, Leaky faucet repairs, moving and installing office monitors
- Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
- Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
- Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials, as necessary.
- Record repairs and maintenance performed.
- Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.
- Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
- Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
Must have prior experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial controls and automation.
Must have an understanding of PLCs and understanding of ladder logic.
Must have prior experience with building electrical, air, plumbing etc.
Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings/prints.
General mechanical inclination.
