Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team, specializing in the restoration and creation of upholstered furniture and automotive interiors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires both creativity and technical skills to fabricate high-quality upholstery that meets our clients' specifications.

Duties

• Assemble and disassemble furniture pieces as needed for reupholstering or restoration projects.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to cut, shape, and secure materials.
• Fabricate custom upholstery solutions based on design specifications and client requests.
• Perform sewing tasks using a sewing machine to create durable seams and finishes.
• Conduct auto restoration projects by reupholstering seats, dashboards, and other interior components.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols while operating tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an upholsterer or in a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and sewing machines.
• Strong understanding of various fabrics, materials, and their applications in upholstery.
• Experience with auto restoration projects is a plus but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
