What You'll DoAs we expand our 3PL capabilities, Munchkin is seeking a motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative to help us launch a 3PL business. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities, driving growth by identifying and engaging potential clients, and negotiating and closing deals to contribute to the success of our 3PL operations. Your role is to help prospective clients understand the value of our 3PL solutions and how we can enhance their supply chain operations.How you will contribute : Lead Generation & Prospecting : Identify and generate new business opportunities across various industries (e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, distribution) using a combination of strategies such as outbound prospecting (calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking) and inbound lead follow-up. Leverage referrals and industry networks to build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities within the 3PL marketQualifying Leads : Assess inbound leads to determine their needs and alignment with our 3PL solutions, ensuring they meet sales criteria before progressing in the sales processAppointment Setting : Schedule and lead meetings, articulating the value of our 3PL services and communicating the Company's value proposition to generate client interestSales Support : Ensure seamless lead transitions, create compelling client presentations, prepare RFPs and RFQs, and assist in nurturing long-term client relationshipsMaintaining Accounts and Cross-Functional Collaboration : Manage accounts and work with the Operations team to meet customer requirements, resolve issues, and drive satisfactionMarket Research & Strategy Development : Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to provide insights that enhance sales strategies. Analyze market data to anticipate demand shifts and develop proactive strategies aligned with the Company's business development goals. Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to enhance market knowledge and elevate the Company's brand presenceStrategic Sales Planning : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth, quotas, and market penetration objectives. Master complex B2B sales, aligning solutions with customer needs to foster long-term partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with Company goals and drive business development initiatives Metrics & Reporting : Meet or exceed sales targets, report on KPIs, and analyze customer feedback and service metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategiesOther duties may be assignedYou will have : 7 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in driving sales in the 3PL industry and managing customer relationshipsMust have a strong understanding of 3PL services, logistics, and supply chain managementExtensive network of industry contacts and established relationships within the 3PL and supply chain sectors, with the ability to leverage connections to drive sales and business opportunitiesProficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), order management systems (OMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and related supply chain products / servicesResults-oriented with the ability to identify, track, and address critical metrics, opportunities, and issuesDemonstrated ability to use data and multiple information sources to develop and execute sales strategiesHighly analytical and data-driven, with an understanding of competitor strategies, products, and pricing patternsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written), with strong active listening and the ability to engage, negotiate, and close dealsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced, independent work environmentSelf-motivated, energetic, and driven, with a strong passion to win and eagerness to grow by acquiring new skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships both internally and externallyMinimal travel requiredWe Got You Covered!
