Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and creativity along with passion to create new items! As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and gourmet caramel apples, ensuring that all products meet our standards of excellence. This role requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Munchoes is based out of El Campo, TX with a commercial kitchen. Our focus on sales avenues include bulk orders through fundraising, online orders, and wholesale.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods and confectionary items including cookie sandwiches, caramel chocolate pretzel rods, and gourmet caramel apples
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Package baked goods for sale or catering/fundraiser orders, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
- Deliver large orders to organizations/store fronts as needed.
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Ability to learn new baking techniques and use of specialty equipment.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and various baking tools.
