Overview of the Position:
Muncy Creek Township is seeking a part-time General Worker to join its team. This semi-skilled position requires physical effort and occasional exposure to inclement working conditions.
The successful candidate will work closely with other employees on assigned projects, which include repair and maintenance of Township roads, buildings, and properties. They must be able to work nights and weekends and have experience plowing snow.
In addition, the ideal candidate should have knowledge of the operation, maintenance, hazards, and safety precautions concerning automotive, construction equipment, hand, and power tools.
To be considered for this role, applicants must live within 15 miles of the Township Building, hold a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), possess a valid PA Driver's License, and be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
The salary or wage for this position is commensurate with experience.
