Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring the highest standards of patient comfort and satisfaction. This role requires expertise in various dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, and dental extractions, while adhering to all relevant regulations and best practices.
Duties
- Perform routine dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
- Conduct dental extractions and other surgical procedures as needed.
- Administer anesthetics and manage patient pain during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for managing patient information and scheduling.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during treatments.
- Provide education to patients regarding oral health, hygiene practices, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures.
- Experience with endodontics and Orthodontics is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and electronic health record systems.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership skills.
