Summary
The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for stocking, maintenance, and operation of the beverage cart. Performs basic math and money-handling skills. Ability to make timely and effective decisions, and work accurately and rapidly in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications - Education, Experience and Training
Minimum 18 years old. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes. Gain or maintain current Basset certification. Golf course facility experience is preferred but not necessary. CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification is required and if not certified, must become certified.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Provide courteous and attentive service to customers.
- Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees.
- Obtain and remember beverage recipes.
- Receive, prepare, and serve orders from patrons of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
- Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.
- Record drink orders into tablet and record transactions on the beverage cart log, collect payments, and make change if needed.
- Balance and finalize register sales with revenue.
- Maintain a full stock of the beverage cart throughout shift.
- Maintain a clean beverage cart and downstairs walk-in cooler.
- Observe state and local liquor laws.
- Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and the public.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
