Mundo-Tech, Inc. is a fast-growing, award-winning manufacturer of fabricated tube assemblies for aerospace, defense, and space markets.
Position Summary : The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet specified standards by reading drawings, inspecting materials, and conducting various tests. You will be trained to create AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and other dimensional inspection reports after interpreting customer drawings, specifications, and other customer requirements. You will communicate with various other departments vital to the manufacturing of customer-designed precision products. You will work with minimal day-to-day supervision upon completion of training.
Quality Technicians also document and report inspection results, approve or reject materials, and monitor production processes for compliance with quality standards. Additionally, the quality technician collaborates with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and ensures adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Continuous training and development are also part of the role to stay updated on quality control techniques and industry standards.
Job Accountabilities :
- Reading Drawings and Specifications : Read and interpret drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and other technical documents to gather technical requirements.
- Pre-Production Documentation : Accurately develops AS9102 First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) and other dimensional inspection reports.
- Recording and Reporting : Document inspection results, maintain records of defects, and report findings to the production team.
- Collaborating with Teams : Work closely with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensuring Compliance : Prepare and review final inspection and FAI paperwork.
- Training and Development : Participate in training sessions to stay updated on quality control techniques and industry standards.
This position is located in Rogers, AR and is not a remote position.
