Roadside Assistant

Job Summary
As a AAA Roadside Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our members during their time of need. This position involves responding to roadside assistance calls, performing vehicle maintenance tasks, and ensuring that our members receive prompt and reliable support. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will contribute to the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside assistance requests, including vehicle breakdowns, tire changes, and fuel delivery.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to diagnose issues and recommend necessary services.
• Assist members with jump-starting vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Communicate effectively with members to provide updates on service status and estimated arrival times.
• Uphold AAA's standards of customer service by demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide practical solutions on-site.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with members and providing clear instructions.
• A commitment to safety practices while working in various roadside environments.

Pay: $21.99 - $23.20 per hour
