Current CPR certification (Plan being certified before hire)

Job Description
We are looking for a Physical Therapist that wants a challenging and a rewarding career in a company that is continually growing and expanding. Working Conditions
Hours: Monday through Friday; No weekends
$1200.00 per year in Continuing Education

Responsibilities
1. Reviews referring medical information prior to the initial assessment.
2. Evaluates patient status using accepted standards of practice.
3. Consults with other professionals to develop an interdisciplinary treatment plan when indicated, outlining patient goals and objectives.
4. Reviews patient progress and updates the treatment plan on a monthly basis, or more frequently if warranted.
5. Implements the treatment plan. Renders direct services.
6. Completes required treatment and billing documentation on a timely basis.
7. Provides training and education to family members/ significant others.
8. Directs and supervises the physical therapy service including support personnel.
9. Fosters and maintains effective professional relationships with other therapists and aides, patients, family members.
10. Participates in committee meetings.
11. Provides prevention and promotes health, wellness, and fitness.
12. Assists with administrative duties such as program development, updating policy and procedure manuals, scheduling, monitoring supplies/equipment, etc.
13. Keeps abreast of current standards of practice.
14. Performs related duties, as requested.
