Job Description
Leads the claims digital transformation journey, integrating data analytics, reporting analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, throughout the entire claims lifecycle. Develops and implements data-driven tools and business intelligence capabilities that align with business objectives, drives innovation, and leverages the power of data as an asset to steer business decisions and be a claims thought leader via trends and insights. Leads cross functional teams and collaborates with claims leadership team and business partners to identify data-driven opportunities, establishes an operating framework with business functions, and champions a data-driven culture.
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
- 8 years' of experience in data and analytics
- 4 years of experience in overseeing or directing work of others on a direct or indirect basis
- Experience in insurance industry and in Claims is a plus
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of insurance industry concepts, including claims management
- Knowledge of database concepts, data analytics, data visualization tools and machine learning concepts
- Understanding of programming languages such as SQL
- Demonstrable experience in leading and building a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align data analytics initiatives with strategic business objectives
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and industry best practices in data security and compliance
