What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Field Adjuster position at Munich Re?
American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a talented and customer-focused Field Adjuster to join our team, handling property damage claims in the Sacramento, California territory, and working with customers to resolve their claims. We're seeking an individual with excellent decision making skills, ability to work under pressure, solid organizational skills, exemplary customer service skills, as well as time management skills to balance various tasks in a standard work day.
- Provide prompt contact to policy holders and conduct field inspections.
- Handle field claims to conclusion, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis and subrogation / salvage assessment.
- Establish relationships with producing agencies.
- Participation in catastrophe duty as needed.
This is a field position so the candidate must live in the Sacramento, California area. The core business hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Overtime is given as needed.

The base salary range anticipated for this position is $55,000 - $80,000; plus bonus pay for CAT deployments and the opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
