Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise wastewater treatment plant operators and maintenance staff
• Schedule work duties and ensure that they are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure that all employees are trained in safety, safety equipment is utilized, and authority safety policies are followed
• Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly progress reports on activities
• Review and submit eDMRs
• Participate in preparation and administration of annual budget
• Make recommendations for improving treatment plant operation both technically and financially
• Administer all aspects of purchasing
• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of treatment plant processes and equipment
• Implement and maintain a comprehensive maintenance program
• Dispatch plant personnel for call-out and emergency situations
• Be available for 24/7 communication (phone, email, text, etc.)
• Perform any other tasks as required by management

Requirements:

• Valid PA driver’s license
• PA DEP Wastewater Operator license
• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in wastewater treatment preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
