Overview: Responsible for executing on all assigned aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance functions performed by the BSA Department and implemented throughout Municipal Credit Union (MCU).

Overview: Responsible for executing on all assigned aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance functions performed by the BSA Department and implemented throughout Municipal Credit Union (MCU).
Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Preparation, reconciliation, and filing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) on a daily basis.
- Review and decision Watch List alerts including OFAC and 314a on daily basis.
- Manage and track Request for Information (RFI) inquiries to Retail Channels, and collaborate with MCU personnel regarding interactions with members to aid in investigations.
- Manage and track Member expulsion recommendations.
- Support BSA-related processes regarding subpoenas, including documentation research, conducting AML investigations, and tracking.
- Conduct initial research and collect documentation on Members requiring Enhanced Due Diligence.
- Ensures appropriate documentation is maintained and available for internal/external audits and legal requests for all work performed by staff.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of MCU core system to Verafin.
- Test and reconcile MDD information from core to Verafin.
- Assist in preparation of monthly management reports.
- Performs other duties as directed by the BSA Officer or designee.
- Completes annual BSA/AML/OFAC training requirements and keeps current with Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing trends.
- Highly ethical.
- College degree.
- Familiarity with the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC and related regulations.
- Well-organized and detail oriented.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to conduct thorough research.
- Ability to interpret and understand laws and regulations.
- Ability to self – manage and self – direct.
- Resourcefulness and great time management skills.
- Desire to drive and invest in the achievement of extraordinary results.
- Financial or Banking Compliance knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft for Windows Applications.

Salary : $62,400 - $73,058
