Overview : The Entitlement Specialist is responsible for managing user access rights, entitlements and permissions and ensuring that proper access and authorization levels are maintained within MCU’s systems and platforms. The specialist works closely with IT, HR, and Lines of Business to ensure adherence to internal controls and the best practice of least-privilege.

Overview : The Entitlement Specialist is responsible for managing user access rights, entitlements and permissions and ensuring that proper access and authorization levels are maintained within MCU’s systems and platforms. The specialist works closely with IT, HR, and Lines of Business to ensure adherence to internal controls and the best practice of least-privilege.
Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Process requests for access changes (additions, modifications, terminations) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all access to MCU systems and applications complies with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate the user access review process to ensure proper entitlements are granted according to job roles and responsibilities.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests, providing necessary data on employee system access.
- Collaborate with IT Security and InfoSec to monitor and respond to entitlement related security incidents.
- Consult with HR, IT leaders and other professionals on on-boarding and off-boarding workflow operations and how to optimize them.
- Maintain and update access documents and procedures.
- Participate in system upgrades and maintenance as it relates to entitlement functions.
- Work with technical teams to integrate new systems into the bank’s entitlement functions.
- Resolve entitlement-related issues and respond to user requirement regarding access rights.
- Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned.
- College degree in one of the following disciplines: IT, Computing Studies, Information Systems, Business Administration OR equivalent work experience
- Cursury knowledge of the organization’s systems: Symitar Episys Quest, Meridian Link LPQ, Meridan Link Xpress Accounts, Mortgagebot LOS & POS, Finastra Servicing Director, Prologue, Synergy, Alkami, Image Center
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to detect inconsistencies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management experience
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
