About the job:

The Strategic Enablement team under Corporate Strategy is responsible for identifying as well as leading the delivering and enabling of a variety of different enterprise- wide, strategic and transformative projects that deliver value to our members and employees across a wide variety of products, service and experiences. The Strategic Enablement team works directly across the organization with various different business communities at MCU to define and communicate the overall vision, objectives, and goals of the product/ project and prioritize project requirement and always support the team.

The goal of the Strategic Enablement Team consists of guiding internal and external consultants, analysts, and business colleagues in the successful development and delivery of agreed project deliverables for internal colleagues and members.

The role of Strategic Enablement Intern is to support the Strategic Enablement team with delivering and enabling company-wide strategic projects as well as assisting with the implementation and application of different process improvement methodologies within or outside of area of expertise of continuous improvement and digitation, automation and transformation projects.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Strategic Enablement department as directed.
  • Coordinate and assist in generating required materials for meetings and projects.
  • Continuous improvement and innovation mindset.
  • Identify Digitization and Automation opportunities and share with Strategic Enablement team
  • Strong time management and organizational skills including managing various tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with Microsoft work, Power Point, and Excel
  • Collaborate with other members of the Strategic Enablement Team and other lines of business to ensure project objectives are met via digitization and automation solutions.
  • Data entry and other administrative assistance as needed.
  • Complete various assignments in a timely manner.
  • Complete ad-hoc assignments in a timely manner.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university, pursuing a Business-related or Computer Science related degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Team player.
  • Outside of the box thinker/ Not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professional discretion at all times.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and complete ad-hoc assignments in a timely manner.
