Overview : The Programmer Analyst is responsible for writing code, cognizant of software governance and architecture, tracking down bugs, creating integration with ancillary applications, and is a key player in the software development cycle.
Responsibilities :
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Proficient with .NET based architecture including XML, SOAP and Web Services, and business productivity applications using Microsoft Office and related technologies.
- Build, consume, document, and integrate APIs in a development, test and production environment supporting the Credit Union’s Software Platform (on premise and cloud).
- Author complex SQL reporting and SSIS packages.
- Develop RESTful API’s.and programs in Symitar core banking system, using Poweron technology.
- Develop core system integration using Symitar using SymXchange API’s.
- Optimize internal applications and data for maximum speed, security, and scalability.
- Function as an expert and perform optimally within an agile development framework, properly creating user stories and estimating effort and duration.
- Review designs created by designers; ask necessary clarifying questions before starting work.
- Lead and manage end-to end life cycle to produce software and applications through project conception to completion.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., IT staff, Business Users, Business Analysts) to gather requirements, develop specifications, author, debug, test, and document program code.
- Possess thorough production experience and business intelligence with .NET development, including strong technology focus on portals and enterprise application integration.
- Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end.
- Analyze, report, and develop new software workflows to streamline processes.
- Develop widgets, and Micro services for online banking SDK development.
- Develop and customize experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Work with ASP.NET, CSS, XML, jQuery, JSON and Node.js, XML / XSLT, ASP, JavaScript frameworks, Office Collaborative products, IIS, Crystal Reports, SQL Reports, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, and VB.NET, C#.
- Ensure standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all development requests.
- Develop applications using latest AI technologies.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance training inclusive of BSA / AML / OFAC and overall BSA / AML / OFAC compliance.
- Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned.
