Overview : The Sales Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering organization-wide training programs that enhance the sales skills, techniques, and knowledge of our sales team. This role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of sales processes, and the ability to motivate and engage a diverse group of sales professionals. It requires consulting with various business units to identify training needs and developing tailored solutions.
Responsibilities :
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Based on the input from business lines, design and implement comprehensive sales training programs to improve the performance and effectiveness of the sales teams.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions (in-person and virtual) on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify skills gaps and training needs.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching and group training sessions to address specific sales challenges.
- Stay current with industry trends, sales methodologies, and tools to continually improve training programs.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new sales employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Monitor the progress of trainees and provide ongoing support and encouragement.
- Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned.
